I got the ifixit precision screw extractor tool kit and I can't find instructions to use them qnywhere YouTube and reddit are filled to the brim with traditional drill based techniques and ifixits own videos of screw extraction doesn't mention this tool of how it is best used
The precision screw extractor set does require some mechanical aptitude and careful feel, but screws that are cross-threaded, jammed, or glued in place will be very difficult to remove with any tool. Our Screw Extracting Pliers are easier to use, but will not grip recessed screws.
In general, we also recommend checking out our stubborn screw removal guide here. If you can get a dremel on them, then you can also cut a slot in the head of the screw and use a flat blade screwdriver to remove them as well.
