Reverse Tweezers Keep Snapping; Common Occurrence?

I own a Pro Tech Toolkit, and my Reverse Tweezers’ tips have snapped twice now, the first time while being used and the second time while just sitting in the kit. The first time was about a month ago, and the second was today. I already made a warranty claim for new tweezer tips the first time, but I don’t want to make another claim if this is just gonna happen again. Does this happen often? What should I do?

Thanks for reaching out @benz78 & @froogers28,

So this issue is not unheard of, but not common to happen multiple times. Many of our tools are made to break before they damage the thing you're attempting to repair, so sometimes these tips do snap.

Email support@ifixit.com and they'll get you set up with a replacement set. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Alright, thanks. Considering that it’s happened multiple times, do you think I should request replacement reverse tweezers as well?

@froogers28 That's a great question. Include that in your conversation with support, they'll know more than I do on this.
