Which iFixit store do you use (e.g. EU Store, Canada Store)?

by

eu store which google directed me wouldn't want to buy from Alibaba but not much options

by

Hi @Pena, I'll look into our EU stock of these parts and get back to you. In the mean time, click on "Notify Me" on the store page for the screen so you'll be notified if they're stocked before I hear back.

I'm just getting my screen from china and due to aliexpress rules if it's fake I get my money back...

nice work!

Hi @penaky, we've been having issues with the supply chain and we're hoping to get those on the "shelves" this spring.

Update (04/06/23)

We are still working through supply channel issues (you'll see similar issues affecting many different industries) and we expect inventories to stabilize in the next month. Unfortunately, there may be continued supply issues with some parts. Click the "Notify Me" button on the store page for the specific part you're after and we'll email you as soon as they hit the shelves.

Please know that we are doing everything possible to resolve any availability issues. We'd love to have all of these in stock all of the time. =]
Thank you for your support!

Got my china version replaced today and working like a original even the fingerprint sensor worked straight away. I'm not saying order from AliExpress but at least mine seems fine and if google can't offer ones...

Yeah, I do see where @penaky is coming from, to be fair. I had that same issue with my 6a, so much so that I bought a "financed" T-Mobile phone with a good screen to fix an unlocked 6a... but then the screen came in stock, so rather than waste the donor until I could do my due diligence I bought the screen. I own an ex-carrier locked 6a now LOL (yes, I got it unlocked, carrier locks are evil), it was either cleared up between my purchase or assumed :-).

The problem is these "trip hazard" phones cannot be trusted until you're either beyond 60 days (T-Mobile), or it's confirmed bad (AT&T, Verizon?) but that means nobody wants them for reliable use... BUT if you win the finance lottery, you took home a winner.

Hi @penaky, can you help me, write me which specific screen you ordered from Ali, please? If possible here on the forum, of course. I'll probably have to solve it this way too. Thanks
