Either cromebooks don't or Macs do belong into the PC category

I just saw that Cromebooks belong to your PC category. But that doesnt't really work, since you differentiate between Mac and PC, implying that your PC category means "Wintel", x86 Windows compatible computers, which Cromebooks aren't. And if your PC just stands for Personal Computer, it doesn't make sense to not include macs in this category.

I also just realized that Severs are in the PC category as well, even though they aren't personal. I think the best solution would be to make an overarching "Computer" category.

Interesting train of thought, @sedorr! Let me send this to a few different groups of people internally and see what they say.

I have a slightly different idea. There should be an overarching "Home Computers" category, then a "Server" category.

Then there are desktops and laptops.

In my opinion Macs should be included in "PC" since it is a Personal Computer,
if people want to be more specific it could use a different abbreviation for more specific like "WPC" to say "Windows Personal Computer" and same for others.

but that's just my opinion.

Hi @sedorr!

Turns out categorization of devices is on the radar of our technical writers to re-organize. The PC/Computer branch is on their docket. Thanks for the suggestion and the prompt!
