EU hammering out even deeper Right to Repair rights!

Looks like the EU is speeding past us!

Tech makers must provide repairs for up to 10 years under proposed EU law

This is a good start, I would like to see a graduated scale based on the devices performance.

Some devices have much longer life spans then ten years! While tech has been on an upswing in performance the last few years it’s getting close to the peek!

Someone who is a web user looking for news or information content doesn’t need a Maserati! Nor 5G performance!

Many 2009/2010 systems are still quite good from the hardware side. The only rub is the OS and the Apps may not work in these older systems. No one is expecting the newer whiz-bang features, just a stable OS running the older Apps. Even 4G cellphones are still useful, no need to trade it in if it still works!
