Will reputation from flagged posts be returned?
So flagging poorly worded posts from December through February cost me points.
When and how do I get them back?

Rep is automatically returned when admins agree with the flagging, to date I've gotten all my points lost from flagging back.

I think one should't worry too much about points. Points don't get things repaired and i'd rather have good advice from a newbee (we all started at some point) than a poor answer of a person with a lot of RPs.

+ hi karsten, you're right - but it's almost funny to get a minus vote for a posting - and this minus posting was accepted because it solved the problem.

I don't care about points per se but without "points" certain activities are blocked.

Never experienced this effect. Have you tried to contact an admin?
