camera in ifixit screen doesn't work

I have a iphone 5c ifixit screen that has a faulty front camera (and posted it here just so @amber and the rest of the ifixit team would be aware, just in case this is a issue with more than just my screen, lol)

i have real front cameras for this iphone (2 to be exact, lol), and the screen works, but will geniune iphone front cameras work with this screen?
