Author Privelieges & iFixit Community

Hello :)

I want to take a moment to acknowledge some unsung heroes of iFixit. Authors.

Authors have a unique privilege in that they are allowed to create and edit guides while bypassing patrol regardless of reputation level.

This comes in handy for those guide makers who are cranking out high-quality guides faster than we can approve them.

By having a dedicated set of authors who can publish guide related content- then we, as community managers, can focus on other areas of the site that will ultimately help grow the community.

I’d like to share our current list of authors.
