I can't wait for this, been wanting to be able to do this for a while, and it'll have amazing results as well, just IMAGINE the sheer possibilities this brings, just look at what user-teardowns have brought, and repair guides are even simpler to make. Not only will this essentially complete all repair guides for Apple products, and add a ton more, but this will be so great for 3rd party or non-Apple devices. Imagine where iFixit will be in a year. Keep up the great work guys!

Just in case anyone was confused, the answer is "It was a countdown to when we started allowing User-Created Repair Guides, which has already happened by now."
