Can't upload images on IE9

Almost a year later; same dance, different tune! Am running MS IE9 under Windows 7 and cannot drag photos from my desktop, or anyplace, into the "Image Importer" When I click "Browse Files" hoping to select the 4 images, converted to pdf as requested, but that only opens another impotentent copy of itself in a new window. Never got to add files. New problem? Old problem? Ignorant Operator? Thx for the help.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I'm sorry that you're having these troubles - we looked into it, and it seems that IE 9 doesn't actually support the ability to drag & drop files from your desktop into your browser.

From our initial research, it appears that there's a possible work-around we can do to enable this functionality, which we're going to try, but until then, your best bet is to use a browser that more fully supports HTML 5, such as the most recent version of Firefox or Chrome.

On another note - you mentioned you had converted your images to PDF's, which is not something that we do. Documents uploaded to the Meta Data section of a guide must be PDF's, and all images must be JPEGs or PNG's.

That said, we do support image upload in IE9 and it should work. We're still working on tracking down what caused your problem and we'll roll out a fix as soon as we can.
