Replacement iFixit Screen has distinct yellow tinge

I have just replaced my scratched/broken iphone 4 screen, took a few hours, but now it works great.

The only problem is that the screen how has a distinct yellow brown tinge to it. When you are reading mail, the mail no longer looks white, kind of like an off white that you see on an old painted wall.

Have I done something wrong, is there a setting to change this, or is there something wrong with the screen?

same problem here... hmmm

After giving it a few weeks, the color remains distinctly yellow, so I contacted iFixit support and they appear quite happy to resolve the problem. I will report back the outcome later.

I received my second replacement screen today. After replacing the screen again, I am disappointed, but at least my phone still works. (: The first thing my wife said after seeing the second replacement screen was "I think its a little less yellow than before".
