How can you remove a page?

I am going through the contribute page and there are a few devices that are simple misspells or just fake pages. Is there any way to remove them? Or at least make them not show up on the contribute page?

We've been trying to figure out the best way to do this. When you make a page empty, it is basically empty. The problem is, we have no way of knowing if it truly is not a device.

I think the best plan is to have a system of flagging, where if three to five people think a device is a misspell or a fake device, we straight up delete it, or turn it into a redirect.

This is something we are working on though and we would love to hear your suggestions on the interface or how to truly tell if a device is fake.

That sounds good, people can flag a device, could clear up a lot of the crud in Devices in no time.

The flagging idea sounds good.

The easiest thing to do is to update questions to refer to the correct device, and delete all the text on a wiki/device page that should not exist.

I've been wondering that too, I've edited out a lot of those (general mispellings usually) but they don't go away. I guess a short term solution is to just edit.

that is what I have been doing, and just making them redirect to the proper pages, but it would be nice to get them off the contribute page.

I have created the Duplicate Device tag and the Wiki. Just add the appropriate flag to pages you think need action.

[flag|WIKI_DELETE]

or

[flag|WIKI_DUPLICATE_DEVICE]
