Meta's reputation system is identical to Answers. The only difference is that if you've already got an iFixit account, we start you out at 100 reputation instead of 1.

So on answers too you get points for accepting answers? Sterling mentioned some "other contributors" to rep, that accounts for at least a couple hundred of my rep here- what would those be?
