Can the "what's this" link on the "Ask a Question" form

Device space be to something other than "What's a topic"? IMHO a better link would be to "Asking a Question" but even that "help" starts out by ignoring identifying your device properly.

Poorly or "generic" identified devices are regularly turning up over on the main forum, necessitating that the first thing done is a request to specify their device.
