Why doesn't browsing MacBook Air parts show the display you sell?

After a lot of hunting on your site, I found a display for MacBook Air 2011 that you sell for $499. It seems to be in stock (the add to cart button is there). Question is, why doesn't this part show up when I browse for parts in your store?

Seems like a bug in the site. If I browse for parts, and select browse by machine, and select MacBook Air, it should show me all the parts you sell for MacBook Air, not just some.

What I'm really looking for is a MacBook Air (mid 2013) display.

The lack of a search feature on the site is also unfortunate, but that's just a missing feature, not a bug like the above.

At any particular step in the drill-down process, we only show parts and tools that apply to everything in the current category.

For instance, in the general MacBook Air category, you'll see only a few very generic items. When you drill down two categories into MacBook Air 11" Mid-2011, you'll see parts suitable for that model, including the display assembly.

This is done as an attempt to reduce confusion as to which parts you should choose from; many customers purchase parts for a different model than the one they own, and we're trying to prevent that. Since this uses a different model of filtering than is commonly seen elsewhere on the web, it unfortunately seems to introduce a different form of confusion (as you have illustrated so well).

BTW, here are the display assemblies for the mid-2013 MacBook Air in 11" and 13".

Also, we do have site search. You can get to it by clicking the magnifying glass at the top of any page.
