Are there plans to either create an official iFixit portable tool bag?

The wooden kit you have is great. I love the kits and all, but I was wondering if there were any plans to create or feature a portable tool bag or kit that would be able to hold all of the ifixit kits and gear in it. I'm currently using a standard messenger bag for all my gear and thought it would be awesome to have something designed with ifixit's tools in mind. It would need to cleanly fit the:

1: ProTech Toolkit

2: iOpener

3: ProTech Screwdriver Kit

4: Macro Bit Set

5. iSchlak

6: at least 2 Magnetic Project Mats (I use 3 for full computer repairs

7: iSesamo

8: Tool slots for all the items in the ProTech Expansion kit.

9. Consumables container

10. Extra slots for misc. tools and items.

If you did this with modular system, I think it would be a big hit. Thanks

Hmm, this is a very intriguing idea, young grasshopper…

All of these sound great. Now they just have to build it. Even if they just remade the kits into something that could connect together. Like a Molle system for tactical gear.

It might contain a couple of static proof pockets for RAM and parts.

Portable light source with a clamp.

lots of adapters, 800 to 400 firewire, mag-safe & adapters

ethernet cable, standard electric cable (long).

Quirky extension cable: https://www.quirky.com/shop/156-pod-powe...

Small canned air. Hemostats. Tapes. extension magnet. small electric screw driver.

Nick, have you moved to Colorado or Washington. Exactly what Mac exclusive accessories are you referring to. I really feel like you've dropped off of the reality springboard and there's no water in the pool.

Just add enough pouches in this so we can actually use it for whatever device we decide. mayer, " Colorado or Washington" LMAO

And an extra pouch for the "devices" those Coloradans now have, eh?

Oh yeah.....not;-)
