Megan, Can you explain how it is to be used: Added a “Contribute” link to the language drop down

I can see the need within the guides to offer language based pages. I would love the given step offer the persons choice in two languages. As an example I could see someone as being bilingual wanting to see their native language (Italian) as the first listed and English as the second choice. That way if the translation was not clear they could try to leverage the second language they know:

Guide example:

Picture --- Step X: Italian

Element --- Step X: English

But how can we effectively deal with the Answer side of things?

Presently I've been using Google Translate to re-post in English the given posting as an example: Identificare esatto modello iMac. Note the Question part & answer have both languages. Can we work on something like that? As presently the people answering are more native English than the other languages posted.

Lastly, how do we get people who are bilingual to setup to help in the translation of the guides? This setting is not seen.

I would like to see within the given users page a country and language place marker so others can see it and lastly if they want to offer their services if bilingual to help translate.

We're working hard on allowing contributions to iFixit in every language. We'll post a status update soon on the progress that we've made. Our goal is for it to be easy to add answers, guides, and wikis in every language. The first step was to make it easy to translate the iFixit framework — and we've got that working nicely now, hence the 'Help translate iFixit' link in the language dropdown.
