There is lack of information concerning all critical connections!

No mention of the touch pad connection...at all! It can be seen, dangling, helplessly in the photo shown in the guide but I (IDIOT) ignored it (even when it was right there in front of me). When I continue tomorrow I could, perhaps/probably find other bits not mentioned. Hard drive was successfully installed, system powered up but needed an external mouse. Had no keyboard support...could be my fault for an incorrect seat...we will see.

How can you publish a repair guide without some sort of peer review?

Is there no oversight to this?

I will, come morning, and better light, take this back up. I WILL complete this successfully, come !&&* or high water!
