Guide creation from existing guides

I know it is possible to reference a guide as a prerequisite, but is it possible to create a new guide completely based off of another? The reason is I made improvements for a guide for a phone, but there is another guide for the same exact phone that needs the same things fixed, and I want to transfer the steps from it.

I want to be able to fix both guides, but I don't want to have to do everything all over again.

Hey Eric!

I'm a little confused by your question, maybe some links to the guides you want to change will help?

Are the guides for the same process? Because we can archive the lower-quality guide and not worry about changing it.

Or is the other guide for another purpose? If the "bad" guide lacks proper prerequisite trimming, and you have a better prerequisite, you might be able to delete the first few bad steps and add in your prerequisite. For example, if you have a Rear Case Removal guide, and someone else has a Battery Removal guide with a bad rear case removal procedure, you can either copy their battery removal steps and paste them into a new guide, or if the first steps are really bad, delete them and add in your case removal guide as a prerequisite.

The guide I revised was:

Samsung Blast Keyboard Replacement

But there are other guides for the same phone made by the same person with the same problems that i fixed.
