I recently upgraded to the iPad Air 2, downloaded the iFixit app from Apple's App Store, but when I opened a repair guide (iPhone 5 lightening dock connector replacement), the guide is no longer in English! The text is printed in different languages but does not include English once you swipe past the first couple of pages. What happened?

You're right, that's a bug! Thanks for reporting it. We're working on a fix. There is the correct English guide in that list, you just need to scroll through and find it.
