MacBook Retina LCD Screen Replacement Source

Does anyone know of a parts supplier who can furnish quality parts for rebuilding the screens on Mac Book Pro Retina machines at a reasonable price? The prices I am finding are around $220 but I can also find a complete repair including parts for $240.

I always use laptopscreen.com

Don't be afraid of eBay either. You just have to know what you are searching for.

This was a little jab at my favorite parts supplier, our site host.

Surprisingly enough, I don't use iFixit for parts . . . Just the tools, occasionally! For the community more than anything!

The laptop screen repair is the only one I found, they are selling the parts and the complete repair for $20 more. This does not make a lot of sense. They even have a guide on the repair service listing on eBay to show how difficult the repair is.

Why not try your hand at refurbishing the Retina panels yourself? Get some junkers on eBay and take a shot at doing it on busted eBay purchase panels.

Nick go here and watch the video on the repair, this is a completely different animal than what we're used to. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281762638536?_tr...
