Does iFixit recycle this model MacBook Pro?

Hello iFixIt.,

I would like to know if iFixit recycles the MacBook Pro 17" Model A1229 for cash or online store credit. If not do you have any recommendations for recycling this precious gem.

iFixit used to purchase laptops in good working condition from customers, but ceased doing so in 2013. At this time we can't offer you any payment for the computer but if you have no where else to send it and want to donate it to us, reply and I will send you a prepaid label.
