Unfortunately, we don't have the time and resources to tear down everything we'd like to. We don't have plans to tear down the Moto 360 2nd Generation.

Sorry, I dont have skills to teardown watch, I am a end user. And I dont even take risk of tearing the device with tightly coupled parts,
I ve always been a fan of IFIXIT,.. Appreciate if you get time in future n do a teardown
I think it would be really cool to see the inside of this device. Since it's one of the best regarded wearables, it'd be cool to see how they've progressed from your first gen teardown.
I own a Moto 360 gen 2. But at this time i'm not gonna do a teardown. If you have seen the teardown from the gen 1 it's quite hard to not damage the device. When my gen 2 is broken i will make a full teardown.

For teardowns, we don't take review or early versions of the device to avoid tearing down something that looks different from the consumer model. Motorola has said that the release date officially for the Moto 360 v2 will be sometime in late September, but thats all we know. As soon as they actually get around to releasing it, we'll have one.
So my final answer is gonna have to be Soon™.
