HP J6480 printer teardown
I'm looking to teardown an HP J6480 Printer.
The goal is to get to the scanner lamp wiring and break in to add a XPA slide scanner adapter.
Is this a worthwhile discussion?

Go for it! All the Teardown information and guidelines can be found here.
Remember, though, a Teardown is not supposed to give detailed information on how to disassemble and fix a device. If you want to create repair guides for it, though, you are also more than welcome to do that!
