Cannot get to old questions from Profile

Sometimes (almost daily) I need to refer to an old question or answer I've posted. When I go to my questions in my profile and find the question it does not link me back to the original posting. With 17,000 -20,000 posts I've made this can be a real chore to get back to them. I can't even copy and paste the question or answer anymore to do a search.

I see what you're saying. You're right, that's a Javascript bug. We'll fix it ASAP. Unrelated: What's the challenge you're having with search?

by

Kyle, Try to copy and paste from either the question or answers listed a a profile.

Chosen Solution

I was fiddling around with the copy/paste problem and I see your problem. In the meantime, it looks like if you drag the name of the question into the address bar it will take you to the original question (in Chrome, at least). This is a short-term solution, we'll have a proper fix out for this soon!

Update

The fix for this is out now. Thanks for letting us know about it!

That works. I’ve seen a lot of students that belong to Forte groups but do not know what it means. Would you mind telling me?

by

Of course! Forte is a professor at Cal Poly, who participates in the iFixit tech writing project for her class. The general format of student groups doing the project is: SCHOOLNAME-PROFESSOR-TERM/GROUP.

Mine is: CPSU-FORTE-W13S17G20, so I had Professor Forte at Cal Poly during winter quarter of 2013.

Kim, please check that as the group at Texas Tech also has forte in it's name and I think others groups also use than, unless they are all named after the your Cal Poly professor.

by

I checked with our EDU team lead and she said we only have one Forte in our program. Do you have an example of one you've seen from Texas Tech?

How do I do a search for teams?
