Will there be Answers page functionality in the iFixit App itself?

The iFixit App really needs a feature where you have full functionality of the answers section of iFixit like you have on a web browser. This app would be significantly better if it did.

Did I somehow miss a separate app that iFixit already has for Android and iOS devices?

Oh and on the other note: Will notifications from this discussion appear under the answers section notification at the top bar of the web page?

We don't have a separate iFixit Answers app, and as far as I know we don't currently have any plans to develop one. Our iOS App was pulled from the App Store, however, we had already put a lot of work into making the mobile version of our site functional. The Answers forum is easy to access and utilize via the mobile site.

Notifications from this discussion will not appear under the Answers section because this question is posted to iFixit Meta, not the Answers forum. I hope that helps!

Our android app is quite good, but it's best at creating guides. For Answers, we've spent a lot of time optimizing it for mobile web. Let us know if you have any suggestions for improving it — we'd love to make it even better!

Probably the only useful feature I can think of implementing is saving unfinished comments as drafts / periodic automatic saving of comments depending on how much time they spent making a comment if that makes sense. I think the drafts are usually stored on the user's / client's device. I've seen it been used in forums and find it particularly useful when my internet drops out sometimes.

Good suggestion! That's certainly something we could implement on the web. Let me know what forums use it and we'll take a look!

Here's one I use frequently:

http://www.overclock.net/

When the user creates a thread and types some stuff in the text box, it automatically saves a draft after like 15 seconds. Unfortunately I couldn't find another forum that implements this feature.

I also do have another suggestion:

- Ctrl+b hot-key used to bold selected text when commenting or making a post

- Same for Control + i = italic, ctrl + u = underline.
