I would buy from iFixit all the time but the only thing that is stopping me is shipping costs, in the end it's always significantly cheaper for me to buy from eBay or from my other supplier's website (as they don't charge me for shipping).

I realize that international shipping can be quite expensive, especially when you factor in the cost of import as well. This is a problem that we recognize and are working to address. As things currently stand, though, we recommend that international orders be placed less frequently and in larger quantities. We supply numerous businesses in Australia and New Zealand, and they typically purchase in larger quantities to avoid the cost of frequent shipments. This is certainly not a perfect solution, but it is one that has worked for many other businesses.
We are constantly working towards making our program better, and this is an area that we clearly can work to improve. Certain measures have already been taken, but I appreciate your feedback. That tape dispenser is very heavy and the size does not allow it to be shipped in any of the cheaper international packaging like envelopes. While it is a cheap item in price, the cost to deliver internationally will always be high. One good thing is it is a rather universal tool, and I'm sure something equivalent is available locally to you (unlike the custom cut Tesa tape).
