2 Release Notes: October, 2016
Features:
- Increased the maximum size of the summary text input field on the translation interface so that it is apparent when a summary is longer than the space of the input field.
- Significantly reduced loading time on all Moderation pages.
- Doubled the allowable bit rate for video uploads.
- Updated Patrol to work more intuitively with translation edits. The order of pending patrol items displayed on /Patrol are organized by language and when viewing pending translation edits both the edit and the source of the translation are shown.
- Added autocompleting for product codes and product names when adding products to an order from the bulk order page.
- Removed the maximum limit for adding products to the cart. Instead of being limited to adding 50 items at once, it is possible to add as many items as are currently in stock.
- Added a "Remove All" button to the redesigned cart page. This button is displayed after any item is removed from the cart.
- Added the iPhone 7, 7 Plus, and LG G5 to the Smartphone Repairability Chart.
- Significantly reduced the loading time for the redesigned product page.
- Guides created in different languages now show up on the User Contributions page.
Bugs:
- Fixed a bug with guide PDFs where long tool listings would span across multiple pages. If the items do not fit on the first page they are now moved onto the second page as a whole, rather than split in the middle of the entry.
- Added a warning message when attempting to switch the source language of a guide with untranslated prerequisite guides.
- Updated the PDF viewer to improve cross-browser consistency and ensure compatibility with mobile devices.
- Fixed a bug where user activity entries were not consistently updated across all activity filters.
- Fixed a bug where the "Order Complete" page always displayed the full retail cost of an item even when that item was purchased with a discount. As a result, an incorrect order total was shown.
