@evan Please let us know when we can start migrating questions again. I've stopped and it looks like @oldturkey has stopped, see this question:

Sorry to hear that :( I'll have the team look into it.

Well, this folk are going to get !#^&@@ because their complaints about shipping have been deleted. They need to be contacted. It now looked to them like they didn't get what they wanted and now their questions (complaints) about it have been deleted.

I checked in with Customer Service on this issue. They will delete posts on META if they contain sensitive customer information. Oftentimes folks will post their order number or personal information in their questions, so our team will reach out to them directly via email and delete their post right after.

Appreciate your concern :)

That is not what is happening. As soon as I migrate a question, it is gone. Never gets here. That has happened three times now in the last week. Look at the two I saved links to. The link says it was migrated and it is not here, never was.

Hi Mayer, not sure what happened, but it looks like the LCD post is here Did iFixit send me a used replacement LCD screen? I'm wondering if there's a caching issue, that may cause a long delay between deletion on iFixit, and appearance on Meta?

by

@sam Yes I can click on that link and go to it, but where is it? I'm looking at the list of questions and it is not there in chronological order? Did anyone answer and solve this guys problems?

@sam @mayer definitely still going on. Just had the same experience with this question. https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/3594... moved from Answers to Meta and now it does not show up in the listing.

@mayer @oldturkey03 you're totally right—it looks like there're at least five recent questions not showing up on the meta home page. I'll shoot this over to the devs to see if we can get this straightened out.

by

Thanks @oldturkey03 for the confirmation. At least I'm not getting senile yet. Now if I can just find where I put my coffee cup.

by

As a serial cup-misplacer, I recommend the three cup rotation. As a bonus you may end up with some neat mold samples—and in my case some less-than-thrilled housemates ;)

by

@evan I usually find one in the microwave.

Okay, our devs dug up the problem (thanks Lexa!) I'll let you know when it's fixed, in the meantime we're trying to restore some of the existing "missing" meta posts!
