Is the 150 mm Flex Extension supposed to have a Magnet in it?

I recently purchased one of the tool kits that comes a 150 mm flex extension.

When I tried to use it, the bits fell out, so my question is, is there supposed to be a magnet in the female end of the flex extension?

The 150mm Flex Extension in the 64 Bit Driver Kit does not actually have a magnet. The slot uses friction to secure the bit. If you insert a bit, and then push it in with additional force it should click into place.
