For people who are hopelessly inept at understanding small electrical parts and gadgets made with them, do you have a reference list of ifixit businesses or home businesses where devices can be repaired?

That's a great list from @mayer. We've also got this list of awesome businesses. We don't yet have a way to sort it geographically, but that's coming down the pike.

What are you looking to get repaired and where do you live?

@oldturkey I did not use the term repairmen. Actually, I did, then went back and changed it in deference to our distaff contributors.

Thanks for your response. I am collecting information about sustainable businesses to hand out and pass around, so I was just trying to find a way ifixit would appeal to more people.
