My Ban Hammer is Broken
I seldom use it, but can't today. It will not let me enter the User ID.
This spammer needs to go @kaykay

@kaykay - Sadly, the hammer is still not working ;-{ Nothing shows up in the field. Just killed off another spammer. I think we have a live one who's testing us today!
Hey Dan! I've been noticing the uptick in spammers too, trying to get it handled. But it looks like your hammer is working? I've been getting notify emails and the users seem properly banned?
@sam Hi Sam! Been in eagle eye'd mode for him, as soon as this Bozo shows his face its hammer time!
I guess the cut & paste isn't working which is how I was doing it before. Not sure why when I tried the direct type in the ID # it failed. But it's working now. Can you look at the cut & paste method as I hate to do someone wrong here with a typo.
Before I was just killing off each post which is such a pain! As no sooner I'd kill one three new ones popped up from the same user ID.
@sam - Just had a new spam user 1940997 aka robertas. Is there anyway to a trace back to find the common IP address of this Bozo? This one is likewise dead.

Just used the Ban Tool with cut & paste using the mouse method it worked! Still would be nice to use the keyboard (a bit faster and easier for me).
He also created a guide while I zero'ed out the junk I couldn't delete it fully. Can someone finish the task.

Ha, I wasn't asking you to copy paste the link! I was asking if you were copy/pasting the userid into the field or if you were trying to type it, and it what browser. The reason I ask is that in our efforts to reproduce the issue, the only problem we found was using Safari and trying to copy/paste into the textbox for the userid.

I'm using Safari, OS X 10.12.3. I tried both copy & paste and typing.
