Suggestion for Answers forum

Last night I was on the answers forum attempting to help answer a few questions.

As soon as I posted my answers or comments they were deleted. I was confused and thought it was an error in the web API or something, so I copied and pasted the answers again.

It was only after I started digging around my profile when I noticed that my posts had been deleted because they were marked as "spam". I lost what little reputation I had, and while I don't really care about it as a number, I felt a little peeved.

After reading the iFixit email telling me what had happened, I realized it might have been because I kept my answers short and posted a few links to iFixit guides that I am sure would have helped the person and were relevant.

Anyways, my suggestion is that whenever a post gets instantly deleted the iFixit bot writes its own post saying something like "This post by [Username] was deleted due to spam" and explain the reasons why it was marked as spam. Had I seen why my post was deleted I would have been able to avoid making the same mistake in the future.

Hey Jacob, thanks for the feedback! We'll see what we can do.

We've got our spam settings cranked a little higher than usual this week because of a large influx of evildoers. We're beating them back and should be business-as-usual soon.

Stick around! We love having you and appreciate your patience.
