Error 401 when accessing wiki syntax page.
I get 401 when I try to access the wiki syntax page from the "welcome" page. What gives?

Hey @pccheese, it looks like that "Welcome" page was a one-off page made in 2009 that never got further attention.
The link to the wiki page is broken because we never made an /Info/ wiki called "Wiki Syntax." When our site includes a link to a wiki that doesn't exist, the default link is to the /Edit page for that wiki, but only admins can create or edit /Info/ pages, so you're getting a permission denied response.
I think the page you are looking for is https://www.ifixit.com/Help/Wiki_Formatt..., and it really should appear in search results before deprecated pages. Sorry about that! You can get to the Formatting and Syntax page by clicking the question mark icon that appears above many text input fields.
tl;dr - Nothing's broken—you're just looking at an old page.

I searched wiki syntax knowing I had seen it somewhere and that page was the first result.
