Replacement battery of iPod nano 8GB 5th Gen. Model A1320

I found the perfect repair kit for the above iPod on the US website and felt very happy.. However I got the message that this set (item code: IF177-002-2) cannot be sent to my country: The Netherlands (Europe) probably this is because of high transport cost and because there exists a European iFixit company.

Unfortunately the right battery or even better: the perfect kit IF177-002-2 is not available on the European iFixit site.

Please make an exception and let me order this set in the US or help me to order it in Europe.

Hi @whotke, we cannot ship you that Fix Kit because we are not allowed to ship batteries outside the contiguous United States. We would love to fulfill your order, but it would be illegal to do so. We're working on a permanent solution to this issue, but right now your best option is to find a domestic supplier for lithium-ion batteries.

OK, OK, regulations...! I do understand the situation. No hard feelings towards iFixit. Although I cannot understand why iFixit Europe does not offer the very same kit as iFixit US does ... So I will try to find a local supplier although I hate to walk that path... Anyway I am very happy with the instructions from iFixit about opening the iPod ! Without that I would be lost completely and ruin the iPod quickly.

Next time you will find a happy customer in me again.
