Who can accept/reject edits on repair guides?
I've made some translations on some guides and they are still pending.
Is this a good question?
It depends on the guide. In this case, that guide requires reputation of 30k to approve edits. There aren't very many folks with that reputation level, so that means it's usually staff that approve them. We're pretty on top of it during the week.
Since this is a French edit, we let our French translators approve them. I went ahead and approved them this time. But next time just hold tight, they'll get to it soon!
We should probably look into lowering the rep requirements for translating.
@mayer I'm not seeing any problems accepting it myself, but I'll take a look at the error logs.

@kyle that is 30K rep points on Meta?

@soros Some clarification: These guides are iFixit staff-created guides on iFixit.com, the required rep to edit is usually set at 30k, that also includes translation edits. We do this to make sure knowledgeable users are the ones making the edits, or the edits are being approved by knowledgeable users! Unfortunately that slows the process a bit, but it keeps the quality high. Thanks for your help! (Thanks @oldturkey03 !)
I'm getting an unknown error trying to accept. One of the programers my need to look at this one @mike
@mayer this the error screen you are getting? I have never managed to get to the accept one of those:-)
Sorry could not resist to mess with your answer :-) Just did not want to add my own ;-))

Still getting the error? Shoot me a screenshot! Thx!
@soros so far the mods have not had much luck with accepting guides or edits on guides. This appears to be still managed through the ifixit staff. I also noticed that over the last few years/month guides were/are not as rapidly accepted as they once were. It appears that this part of ifixit has taken a bit of a backseat...
Last conversation I had with iFixit on that is here ifixit staff still checks the repair guides? and @sam can probably assist with that.
Well it is the weekend. Usually, I believe, those requests are sent out to iFixit. I suppose one of the moderators here could do it. IFixit works a normal weekday schedule. We're volunteers, working hard to help the public
