Spammer at work here!

@kaykay

We have another winner who is creating spam guides:

I guess we need to do the deep cleanse ;-}

But, is there any way we can enable moderators a spam deletion option under guides?

I've already banned Jessica Williams aka: 2044316

Is this a good question?

Also, regarding a mod tool, guide deletion is permanent and non-reversible for the moment, so we're not able to safely give you that tool. Speaking as someone who has personally deleted some really good guides on accident, it's no fun to lose legitimate content :'(

Yea, food guides are the best.

Pardon my UPS parking lot mobile typos :')

@sam - I understand, I wouldn't want to toss a good guide out by mistake either.

How about a way to hide them, I'm thinking something like how you can migrate Q's to meta. Could that be a way around it?

If you hold all of the meta data it could then be moved back if it was good. Otherwise, you could delete them permanently. And the spammer looses his eye's he's trying to get to.

We are actually working on a sort-of-hiding-kinda-deleting method, but that may take awhile to roll out. But you could certainly mark them private, or archived to hide them from the average user!
