I learned about IFIXIT through a PBS news program. And immediately went to your website, which definitely needs a better home page and introduction. But for PBS, I would NOT have understood what you do, the seminars, etc, etc. Please add some kind of brief introduction.
Susan, as a volunteer here, and 97% of the questions are answered by volunteers, if you would, please address specific things that you would suggest changing. @kaykay is the public relations go to person.
This is a hands on site and answers is really run by the public. So if you have a question or an answer, please feel free to post it. But remember to gives us the make and model number and the specific symptoms. In your case, give specific things that you feel need fixing'. Also solutions if you have them ;-)

We appreciate the feedback, and I agree, we could definitely have more on our homepage. I actually have quite a few ideas that we're working on now so stay tuned! If you have any specific suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks for stopping by :)
Susan Tucker @kaykay @mayer @pccheese I kind of see where this could happen. @mayer, remember that we have been involved with this for a bit, so we may not see it. I like the way the homepage is setup, but it really does not explain what iFixit is all about. It does not explain that we try to answer any question about any device on an individual basis, unlike other forums. We do not thrive on the "me too" but on empowering anybody, anywhere to fix their stuff.@kaykay I think if you would move the bottom part up " Exercise Your Right to Repair" and add the mission statement to it, that would do it. Keep it simple and clean.

I, after thinking about it, agree with @oldturkey03 we come here directly to the answers forum so much I forget what it looks like. It's kind of blank with links to what goes on here
