Kyle & Co. You've made the big time in "The One Device" book just pub.

Hope you guys spend some time reading the book. Here's a treat! IFIXIT is front and center in the first few pages!

"Instead of buying a new one (again), I decided to take the opportunity to learn how to fix it myself—and find out what’s behind the display. I’d been carrying this thing around for years, and I had no idea. 'So I headed to iFixit HQ, nestled in sleepy San Luis Obispo on the California coast. The company publishes gold-standard gadget-repair guides, and a mellow repair pro named Andrew Goldberg is its lead teardown engineer.”

@kaykay - I also caught Kyle doing the rounds on the new 21.5" teardown on how Apple put back the RAM slots and now has an upgradable CPU!

He made a comment on you guys making a RAM upgrade kit for the system with all of the needed tools and pieces. Thats Great! A helluva cheaper than what Apple charges as long as you are careful! Please add into the kit a ESD wrist strap. So they can clip it to the stand or case when they take the logic board out.

How are you guys doing with getting Apple's custom SSD's? (x2 & x4 PCIe) are you able to get a good source for them yet?

We are starting to get more people trying to get larger M.2 SSD's with a custom carrier to replace the lower sized Apple SSD in their system. I understand their desire in using these, but it's a bit of a crapshoot if it works reliably.

I can see you guys offering an upgrade kit for the iMac's with a direct replacement SSD (If you can get the real SSD's in the larger sizes) as well as for the older retina MacBook Pro's. Please think about it.
