The bit 1/4 4 (from ifixit 64 bit driver kit) what is it?

I just got my first tool set today. The ifixit pro tech tool kit and I'm wondering why that 1/4 4 bit on the right top side doesn't fit the screwdriver, how to use it and what is it for?

A second question, is there a video or a guide teaching you what the bits are for as well? That would be helpful. Thank you

That bit on the top right is a 1/4" to 4 mm drive adapter, in case you want to use bits in your 64 bit kit with a larger 1/4" drive handle like this one. The adapter goes in the driver, and your bits fit into the adapter.

We don't have a guide that covers every individual bit, but you can find some help with identification and bit selection here and a few more general bit/driver tips here. Hope this helps!

I love the inclusion of that bit. It allows me to adapt all the other bits to my cordless driver and makes taking many screws out very quick!
