iPhones basic test kit

More of a question for desire and the ifixit team.

Is there any sort of good test kit that you offer for the iPhone series?

An example for my new lab I'm opening up: power troubleshooting kit -

1 of each iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6s, 6p, 6sp, 7, 7p charging docs (color doesn't matter because they would be used for troubleshooting)

1 Battery for each model as listed

1 USB ammeter

1 charging cable

1 ifixit complete toolkit (optional)

1 heat thing you stick in the microwave (name is escaping me)

I think it could be great to add this item to my cart and get all the above items maybe at more of a discounted price because quantity of order.

Any input?

Update (08/30/2017)

The Tool kit you recommended is neat. I have all that though (besides the iOpener, i have a hotplate i use instead.)

In the replated post you sent, they are talking about testing items they receive, primarily screens and are talking about what would be a better solution to breaking their loaner/test phones connectors. I have seen a few screen flex cable extenders from good ol china that I'm sure would help them out, but I feel you are missing the scope of my question/suggestion.

New to iphone repairs-yes, new to a shop -no

You covered 2 items in my list that were somewhat optional , I am talking about the other 18 items that are cellphone model specific I would like to easily be available to help others out that are new in the field like I am.

Here is the break down of what i am talking about that I could add to my cart,

5 battery

5 jack

5c battery

5c jack

5s battery

5s jack

6 battery

6 jack

6p battery

6p jack

6s battery

6s jack

6sP battery

6sP jack

7 battery

7 jack

7p battery

7p jack

SE Battery

SE Jack

Whew, that was a bit of work. I think it would be great to have a "Kit" be available to include all those items. Heck, maybe with an addition item for the "front camera and sensor cables" as a faulty one of those can cause all sorts of fun.

I care about my clients and would love to give them quick accurate responses, and having all the common power problems Parts solutions is something I will need to invest in as I do not have a stock of everything yet. As Jessa Jones says, make sure its not a parts problem before getting lost in the logic board (that might be my own wording).

So that is my idea, I think it would be spectacular to have such a purchasable item on ifixit.com to get the ball rolling with quality for small shops.

Thanks again for your input Christopher!

Based on your list, I think the best option for you would be something like Repair Business Toolkit.

It sounds that you're setting up a test iPhone bench area in your workspace. This would be a great topic for our iFixit Pro community which is comprised of Repair Professionals, many of which probably have already setup their own test bench setup and would have valuable insights to offer. You can learn more at pro.ifixit.com and talk.ifixit.com.
