Read moreThis iOS 11 is becoming very annoying. I can't see how airplane mode would do anything. A possible solution is downgrading firmware. However our customers are not going to want to go through that, just to have a display replaced. Not to mention I've heard of people on the Q&A forum saying downgrading from iOS 11 to 10.3.3 left their phone unbooting. One of my friends completely stock iPhone 6 on 11.0.3 was so bad she couldn't wait for me to downgrade it for her and bought an iPhone 8. This is starting to sound like a scam. I agree something needs to be done. And likely just as it was with error 53. How to speed up said process though? Granted this time they went as far as to publicize this in their iOS update
Read moreEh, @pccheese. It's spam(y) does raise a good point. And honestly I've been thinking about it. There are loads of shops in china that sell parts and tools that you can walk to! Why don't we have that here? Would it be marketable? Could I do it without sacrificing quality?
Read moreNo 00 and 000 are not the same thing. Honestly I only use 00 as I've found in myself and my employees 000 will strip screws. As far as general repairs you can get away with those two. I still use a flat head, and iPhone 7 and 8 you need a tri point screw driver
