I'm a bit late to the party but congratulations to you, @mayer, for all of your contributions. I was particularly impressed with how patient you were in coaching all of the kids along in their journey to help repair the world. They burn out quickly but there's a good chance they will find their way back here in the future as they age and mature. Between that and the encyclopedic knowledge you have shared through the years, you will have left a lasting legacy to the repair community!
Read moreI almost had to do a double-take there ;-). Then I realized how cool it would be if TPTB could somehow honour the longterm contributions of veterans like @oldturkey03 & @mayer by linking them to some toolkits.
Read moreCongratulations Master Turkey! You (along with @mayer !) have been a great inspiration to many contributors here, myself included. I wish I could hang around more than I have but life doesn't always move in a linear fashion. Keep up the good work!!
Read moreJudging by this users activity, shouldn’t they just be banned? https://www.ifixit.com/User/Activity/386... BTW, there has been an awful lot of spamming for “TunesKit iOS System Recovery tool” lately. I have been cleaning up answers on the questions I follow but I think it’s safe to say there is a lot more out there. Perhaps TPTB can run a simple search and root it all out.
Read moreHello, I was just moderating a few spammy answers from this user (https://www.ifixit.com/User/Graph/215383...) when I noticed that they have already been flagged multiple times in the past as well. May as well ban the user altogether ;-).

Read moreCan we do something about this “user”. They always post the same answer (SPAM) and it’s too late to ban them myself. https://www.ifixit.com/User/3357693/Mark...

Read moreAlright, I getting tired of this poster’s repeated (and duplicate) question and comments. They have asked essentially the same question 5 times (I have since merged them) in the last week, received 6 good answers and yet always come back with the essentially the same comment and incredulity. At this point, I’m starting to believe that they are just trolling the community. This is the question: https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/6195... This is the user: https://www.ifixit.com/User/Activity/338... I have deleted the question, if the other mods or admins don’t agree, then just bring the question back.
Read moreI don't have any issues with "not voting/accepting" if everyone else goes along with it but I suspect that TPTB already have all of that info, they just need to exclude the votes and selections from the top 10 users/mods on any given period ;-). This has been discussed ad naseum over the years and not much has ever changed. If you contribute here, you have to accept it for what it is. Most OP's will never come back to their question to comment, vote, select etc., unless, as @jayeff pointed out, they have follow-up questions or comments. They rarely vote and accept even less. Heck, as I’ve mentioned before, even many of the regular contributors to this forum don’t upvote good, quality answers by the other members…how can you expect panic’d OP’s who have no real connection to this forum (and who are probably asking on multiple forums) to do so. When I first started out, I noticed an organic "Accept" rate of ~15%. That was with a bit of prodding the OP on my part. As for upvotes, looking back now, I have...
