Thanks for your question! The difference between these two products is the number of components that come with each repair solution. Each of these products have different product pages, so we suggest comparing the two depending on your repair needs. Essentially, the “Screen” variant includes some extra components that are pre-installed. It is a repair solution geared towards someone who may not have ever performed a screen replacement before, and they just want to get their phone working around. This product is geared more towards repair shops who replace these screens for a living and are confident in swapping back in the...

Sorry to hear about the login trouble! In the interest in resolving your issue, I've gone ahead and removed the "OpenID Association" tag from your account, which may be the very thing causing this issue. I've also sent a Password Reset email over to you, that way you can select a new password and login using the same email address as before. I hope this helps! If you continue to experience issues, please send an email to support@ifixit.com and we’ll be sure to assist further. All the best,

Thanks for your Meta post! We don’t shop around and buy batteries from other sellers to compare theirs to ours, but you’re totally welcome to do so! We do, however, spend a lot of time working with our suppliers to improve the quality and performance of their batteries quite often. We do our best to offer affordable prices where we can, but it’s ultimately decided by a combination of factors. Here is a non-comprehensive list of contributing factors: (1) Supplier vetting and production using OEM specification (2) Supplier availability (3) iFixit quality assurance and testing (4) Pain-free warranty support for batteries and other consumable items (5) Comprehensive, US-based customer support (6) Market supply & demand The Meta forum is more for back-end discussions for how the website functions, bug reporting and user moderation. If you have further questions, we ask that you contact our Customer Support team via support@ifixit.com and they’ll be sure to address your concerns.
