Hey there Nick, Thanks for posting. I nested that page under the correct parent category, which you can see here. I don’t see any edits that were denied in the editing history of the page, and I’m not sure how your edits were denied. If you encounter this problem again, please share a screenshot and describe your experience in detail so we can try and reproduce the issue. Thanks! Justin Ogihara
Hey there @jayeff , We looked into this situation, and unfortunately we aren’t able to change the device name under the icon in the Answers forum without changing the entire URL. If we do change the URL of the device page, all of the editing history will be lost, and that would significantly impact the page’s appearance in search results. We will make a note of this and see if this is something our dev team can implement in the future. As for now, we’ll have to rely on users looking at more than just the title of the page to ID the correct model number for that device. Hope this helps! Justin Ogihara
Hey there Nick, Congrats on getting that new DualSense controller! I’ve heard great things about it, especially the haptic feedback features of it. FYI, once you create a device page, it will be available to view for the public. I’ve modified the URL for the DualSense Controller to match the other DualShock device pages already on the website. You can find the new page here. As of now, the page doesn’t have any information on it yet and will remain flagged as a ‘Page Stub’ until further information is provided. Feel free to add a ‘Background and Identification’ section to the page if you have the time. You can use the DualShock 3 or DualShock 4 pages as models for good device pages. Enjoy the new controller and let us know what you think of it! Happy Fixing. Justin Ogihara
Hi there Oscar and thanks for sharing this news. It's certainly exciting that the EU is moving towards Right to Repair, but we've still got a ways to go. If you wanted to find more information in English, we wrote an article about it! Here's the link to the post: https://www.ifixit.com/News/47111/europe...-parliament-votes-for-right-to-repair
Hi there Jonathan, Thanks for posting on this forum. We looked into the two guides in question, and it does seem that they are duplicate guides. After doing a little more digging, it looks like you were working on your guide at the same time as a team of students in our Technical Writing Program who were working on a set of guides for the E6530. You mentioned that their guide is missing a step. As a member of the iFixit community, feel free to edit their guide and improve it! In true wiki fashion, the guides on iFixit are a collaboration, so don't hesitate to help improve any content you see on the site. Let us know if you have any questions or comments. Thanks so much Jonathan and happy fixing! Justin Ogihara
Hi there Vendel, Thanks for posting on this forum with your great question. The screwdriver handle equipped in the Mako Driver Kit features a magnetic bit socket. When you insert a bit into the socket, the bit should comfortably fit into the socket. It may wiggle a little in the socket, but it shouldn’t feel loose or wobble around in the socket too much. If you believe you received a faulty product, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team and they’ll handle it from there. Thanks and happy fixing! Justin
Hi there Dwayne, Thanks for posting your great suggestion. I’ll pass this along to our Product Development team and I’ll let you know if anything comes of it. Thanks! Happy Fixing. Justin
Hi there and thanks for your question. We aren’t entirely too sure of other apps that have the feature you mentioned in your post, but this seems like a great idea to integrate onto our website! I’ll pass this suggestion along to see if this is a feature worth looking into. In the meantime, let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you with any repair-related questions. Thanks and happy fixing! Justin Ogihara
Hi there Sean. Thanks for posting on this forum. While we don’t sell OEM parts from the Apple manufacturers, our parts are thoroughly tested for quality and should perform as well as an OEM part. You can find more information about the quality of our parts on this page. Let us know if there’s anything we can do to help. Happy Fixing! Justin Ogihara
