Hi Emiddio, I’m reaching out to follow up on this issue from a while back. Our devs weren’t able to reproduce the bug, but we’ve made other improvements to the site that likely resolved the issue. Everything should be back to normal, but let me know if you experience any other issues. I hope this helps!
Hi Tim, Thanks for sharing this! This is so important, and I’m impressed France is making this change. Really hoping other countries follow their example.

“In its memo, Apple said this move supports the company's ongoing commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of every product it sells.” Apple is capable of doing more than this, but any small change is good!
Hi John, Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear you’re having trouble posting your question. Since you were able to successfully ask this question here in the Meta forum, you likely already know that there is a distinction between “Preview My Question” and “Post My Question.” When you click “Preview My Question,” you will be able to review your text before you post it publicly. When you’re satisfied with your question, you can publicly post it using the “Post My Question” button. If you’re clicking the correct button and still having issues, can you add a screenshot of what you’re experiencing? Are you receiving any error messages when attempting to post? Also, let us know what device, operating system (and version), and browser (and version) you’re using. Hopefully with all of that information, we can pinpoint the issue! As for your second question, if your specific device doesn’t appear when you’re writing out your question, you can choose a broader category. In this case, you can select “Windows Tablet”...
Dan, Does Apple always say that only “a very small number of customers” were affected by issues? This is the second article in a row that I’ve seen them use that phrase. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Dan, I’m just catching up on this now! I’m hoping the replacement screens won’t end up having the same issue down the road. Looks like they issued a fix to the flex cable in 2018 models, which is a good step!
Hi Tim, Thanks for your feedback! I’ve passed your suggestion along to our guide writing team, and they’re planning on clarifying the instructions in the guide’s text. We also do have a separate guide for replacing iPhone battery adhesive strips (listed in this step of the iPhone 7 Plus Battery Replacement guide), but the team will work on making those instructions more apparent. I’m not sure yet if editing the videos will be an option, but we’ll do our best to make the instructions as clear as possible! I appreciate you sharing your experience with us. Happy fixing!
