Hi Sam, I reopened your comment on the PS Vita Slim guide, and I also sent you a follow-up email. As far as I can tell, you didn’t post anything that should have triggered the spam filter. Let me know if anything happens again, and I’ll look into it. Thanks for your contributions!
Hi Felix, The spam bot most likely confused the model numbers in your post for spam. Hopefully the bot has learned its lesson, but if any future posts are flagged again, feel free to email moderation[at]ifixit[dot]com, and we can restore them for you. And thanks to @jayeff for reopening the question!
Hi Mark, Thanks for your feedback! We do not have an image rotation feature on iFixit, but we have received similar requests in the past. As of now, we don’t have any immediate plans of including image rotation, but I’ll pass your feedback along to our dev team. I hope this helps!
Hey Jayeff! So, since we can’t see the images in the user’s history, we aren’t able to determine the source of the issue. @jogihara did a test post in Chrome and Firefox, and the images went through and were visible in the actual post and not just the preview. If the user wants to email the images to moderation[at]ifixit[dot]com, I’d be happy to attempt to add those images to their post. Thanks for your help!
Their definition of “counterfeit” is interesting, since according to the article, they were original Apple parts! “The phone screens in question were Apple parts, refurbished by Chinese resellers, but with the branding obscured. Reports vary whether the branding were completely obliterated, or just marked over with a permanent marker.”
