Will I be able to purchase replacement parts for my Steam Deck OLED?

I've been waiting for any information on replacement parts for the OLED because I am scared of breaking my Limited Edition version, so I wanted to know will replacement parts be availible for the OLED (and maybe the Limited Edition version?) like the old LCD model?

I'm going to bump your question over to the iFixit Meta site (not to be confused with Facebook's parent company Meta) where someone like @amber may be able to answer your question.

This is the repair forum and is not generally frequented by iFixit Store personnel, who are the most qualified to give an actual answer.

@spankus , thank you for your patience.

We won't be stocking the limited edition parts, but the standard parts that we will sell will be fully compatible and allow users with the limited edition console to extend the lifespan of the device all the same.

We expect to stock the standard parts within the next 2-3 months.
