Mail address as username - is this a good idea?

Hello folks :)

Would you please have a look ath this guys profile: manuelbarseghian8888@gmail.com - iFixit

Shouldn't we ask him to change his profile name, as it seems to be his mail-address? Just asking to prevent him from possible SPAM.

Horrible idea but we sadly cannot stop people.

@manuelbars63968 We’ve seen issues with this before. Using your email is fine but strongly discouraged. You should change that to something else ASAP like how I use my first name.
