Title:

Updated iFixit Community Guidelines

Text:

Happy almost-Mashed-Potato-Day, folks!

It’s been pretty neat for me to watch the iFixit community grow into a global, fixer-force these past few years. We’re on track to help 100 million people fix their things just this year—and we absolutely couldn’t have done that without you. With so many new Padawans joining our ranks, I thought it was time to revisit our [https://www.ifixit.com/Info/Use_Guidelines|Community Guidelines].

Our mission has always been to make repair accessible and easy for as many people around the world as possible. Every day, we have first-time fixers to expert micro-solderers visit our site for repair help—and that’s fantastic! We want to be helpful to everyone. To keep our community functioning smoothly, we re-wrote our [https://www.ifixit.com/Info/Use_Guidelines|guidelines] using feedback I received from a lot of you—as well as feedback we got from the iFixit team.

I’d love for you to [https://www.ifixit.com/Info/Use_Guidelines|check them out] and get your feedback. If you have any questions or concerns, I want to hear those, too.

May the fix be with you!
