Hey Stephen,
As a fellow Californian, I sympathize with your concern that asking CA congressional reps to take action on issues they're already on board with, like Net Neutrality, is a bit like asking the pope to pray. They're already on board!
-When it comes to right to repair, that's actually not the case. First of all, it's state legislation and not federal. And no state has passed Fair Repair, not even California. Also, Democrats are not universally lined up with right to repair. Apple has managed to sway many loyal Democrats to take an anti-consumer stance. That's a shame!

California's bill has been introduced by Rep. Eggman from Stockton, and we desperately need co-sponsors. The bill is AB2110, and you can see the detailed info here:

Thanks for your help—we need it. It's touch and go whether we'll be able to get a committee hearing this year. Ask your rep to tell leadership that we need this bill to see the light of day.
